Life costs more for disabled people

According to Scope UK's new Disability Price Tag report, disabled households now need, on average, £1,010 extra a month. Just to have the same standard of living as non-disabled households. After 3 years of high bills without the right support, disabled people and their families are beyond breaking point.


They are asking the Government to to act now, before the Autumn Budget on 30 October:

• introduce a discounted energy bills scheme

• expand eligibility for the Warm Home Discount

• fix our broken benefits system


They are urging people to contact their MP's to ask for their help by reading the report, writing to the Chancellor, and raising questions in Parliament.
