Neurodiversity in the Workplace Fully-Funded Workshop

The Stoke-on-Trent and Staffordshire Growth Hub are hosting a Neurodiversity in the Workplace, delivered by Donna Stevenson of the Neurobox Training Team. This FULLY-FUNDED morning workshop at the beautiful Hawkesyard Estate in Rugeley will provide an insightful overview of neurodivergent differences, how they can impact on individuals, and how to implement neuroinclusive practice.

In the workshop, we will explore neurodiversity, their shared traits and characteristics, as well as providing a deeper dive into Dyslexia, ADHD and Autism. In the modern workplace, it is important how these differences can impact on an individual and to consider issues like disclosure and assessment. The training will cover what constitutes good, neuroinclusive practice, including Reasonable Adjustments, with lots of top tips to ensure we enable our neurodivergent team members to thrive at work.Delivering the workshop is Donna Stevenson: Donna started her career as a Nursery Nurse and a Primary School teacher, where she developed a passion for supporting those learners with dyslexia, leading her to work for many years at the British Dyslexia Association (BDA).Over the years at the BDA, she’s worked with children and adults with dyslexia; working within education and workplaces to raise awareness and champion the Dyslexia Friendly approach. Her passion in the latter part of her career lies with supporting adults in the workplace through delivering training, and as a Workplace Needs Assessor.
