A new bus service has finally arrived for Cheadle, thanks to a successful tender bid by Stantons of Stoke. Blythe Bridge, Longton, Trentham and Newcastle are now within reach of our non driving residents and those who prefer not to take the car. Usual concessions apply, so if you have a valid bus pass you can ride for free, making a day out at Trentham Gardens, or Newcastle Town Centre popular and pleasant. You can attend your hospital appointment and be dropped off right by the main entrance, or take a train from Blythe Bridge to the rest of the World. The existing 123 Service will connect to this and when the new Aldi arrives we'll be able to pop in for tea and come back with a tent.

If you are using the service, Stanton's recommend you connect to their Facebook page for updates. Creating a bus service is costly, and if we don't use it the County Council will be hard pressed to renew the contract. We'd like to encourage you all to take a bus trip, meet some new people and do your bit for the environment too.

Here are the Bus Service Timetables from Stantons.
