This term has been nothing short of incredible for Painsley students, with outstanding achievements across multiple sports. From netball and swimming to cricket and football, our young athletes continue to make us all proud with their dedication, teamwork, and skill.

A huge well done to the five sports leaders who supported the CADSSA Netball Tournament. Their dedication in umpiring and mentoring younger players showcased true leadership.
Congratulations to Oliver for winning two gold medals at the Staffordshire County Finals in the 200m Breaststroke and 400m Individual Medley.
The U15 boys’ cricket team won all five matches to claim the title, an incredible achievement given that most of the squad were Year 9 students. Next stop: County Finals!

Alfie was named East Staffordshire Sports Person of the Year (Senior Award)—a fantastic honour and a
testament to his dedication. Congratulations, Alfie!
The Year 9 boys secured a 5-3 victory in the County Cup quarter-finals after an impressive comeback against King Edward’s Lichfield.
Meanwhile, the U13 team were crowned Staffs Moorlands Tournament champions after an unbeaten run, including victories over Churnet View, St Edward’s, and Cheadle.
Champions in the Pool
Painsley were crowned overall winners of the U13 Staffordshire Moorlands School Swimming
Gala. Special recognition to the Year 7/8 Girls’ Team for securing 1st place and the Boys’ Team for finishing a close 2nd. Well done to all our athletes—we look forward to more success
