Painsley Catholic College is celebrating the outstanding achievement of Caitlin, who represented the College at the Catenian Public Speaking Competition. This prestigious event showcased the talents of young speakers from across the region, with participants competing in two heats before progressing to the grand final.

Caitlin delivered an eloquent, confident, and passionate speech that captivated both the audience and the panel of judges. Her compelling argument and poised delivery secured her a place in the final, where she had the incredible opportunity to speak once again—this time in a much larger and more imposing setting, in the presence of the Archbishop.
Despite facing experienced public speakers, Caitlin performed brilliantly, demonstrating remarkable composure and skill. While she narrowly missed out on the top prize, she was thrilled to finish as a finalist and proudly took home a cash prize for her impressive efforts.
A spokesperson for the college said, "We are incredibly proud of Caitlin for her hard work and dedication. She was an exceptional ambassador for our school, and we look forward to seeing her continue to develop her public speaking talents in the future."
"Well done, Caitlin!"
